The staff was so friendly and helpful in providing recommendations for activities, restaurants, and drinks in the area. They also had a free breakfast and a cute little coffee shop on site. I liked that there were several buildings on the property and it wasn't set up as a big chain hotel. I also loved that it was right by the water where they had several chairs out on a patio so you could drink your coffee and watch the boats. Additionally, there was a swimming adventures company right across the street and there you could set up many water activities and access straight from the hotel. The room was large and clean but the walls/building seemed a little outdate (stucko or whatever that material is). But then again, maybe just because it was FL?... I felt it was centrally located, awesome restaurant literally right next door from the hotel. I will definitely be booking here again for any future travels that take me to that part of Florida!

Property was very clean and you could tell the rooms had been renovated in recent years. I wish they offered bigger beds. The full size beds in the double rooms was a bummer. They were comfortable though, and the rooms were clean. There seemed to be a humidity problem in our room. A big bucket of Damp Rid was kept on top of the closet. The A/C seemed to work really well though and kept our room cool. Location is key here. They offer a private boat ramp you can utilize, but it is on the smaller/tighter size, fyi. Would be amazing if there were boat slips you could leave your boat overnight, but they do have docks you can tie off for a short while and a dirt lot to park your boat trailer. Kids loved the pool! There are also multiple restaurants within walking distance. Bayside Kraft Kitchen was absolutely delicious. Def recommend! Overall, I really enjoyed our stay and would return again.

This is our 2nd time there. We were originally placed in a nice room close to the end of the property, but what we didn’t know was there was going to be a band playing at the restaurant next door. At 7 pm, it was blaring in our hotel room. We have an infant, so that was not going to do for us! I walked to the front desk, explained the problem and Cathy at the front desk was awesome! She immediately said “no problem!” We have an emergency room, and it is in a quiet spot. They were fully booked but Cathy had the kindness and forethought to understand the importance of a quiet location for a baby in need of a quiet place to sleep! Thank you Cathy! We do so appreciate your help!! We will stay there again!

I stayed in building 1, room 213 with the pool, jacuzzi and dock area with kayak rentals and boat rides practically outside my door. Parking was close too. I had a partial view of crystal river as well. My room was quiet and nicely renovated with new paint, furniture and art. Bed(s) were comfy and linens clean and well appointed. Nice smelling toiletries as well. Close walk to lobby for coffee in the morning or to check out the gift shop. Crackers Bar & Grille next door.

The front office staff, Cindy and were absolutely lovely! The room was clean, comfortable and much nicer than pictured online. They are doing a bunch of renovations so maybe we were in a new room? They offer a delicious manatee punch around check in time as well as warm chocolate chip cookies. What a great little treat after a long drive!! There is also a great little coffee shop in the lobby that has tasty snacks and coffee.
